Kim and Melanie
In the past, Dental Hygienists could only work under the supervision of a Dentist. In 2007, regulations were implemented that allowed Registered Hygienists to offer services in their own practices, removing the supervision requirement.
Sisters Kim and Melanie had worked in Calgary for 10 years when they decided to open The Edge Dental Hygiene Centre-Calgary’s FIRST Dental Hygiene Clinic!
Both sisters are Dalhousie University graduates and have practiced in Calgary for over 20 years. They are active members of both the College of Registered Dental Hygienists of Alberta (CRDHA) and the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA).

Jacqueline
Jacqueline has been with the Edge since its opening. She is Kim’s sister-in-law and is happy to help you with scheduling, navigating dental insurance, and has been known to hold a hand or two during treatment.
